NEW LOCAL BOOK FOR SALE - Uncovering Gateshead - book two

List title

On Saturday 1 December we  launched our latest book - Uncovering Gateshead - Book Two, at St Mary's Heritage Centre, Oakwellgate, Gateshead.

Gateshead has lots of interesting oddities, old street signs, relics of a bygone industrial age and fascinating architectural features where you can imagine the builders of the day competing against each other. This new walking guide is designed to take you through the terraces, down the back lanes and discover some of Gateshead's hidden treasures.

Uncovering Gateshead book two covers five heritage walks, four around Low Fell and one around Sheriff Hill.

The book costs £4.99 and would make an idea Christmas present.

If you would like a copy you can ring 0191 4776924 or email gatesheadlhs@gmail.com
